~Oceania Breedables~ at World Goth Fair!

They gave us a day, we took a week!   World Goth Day falls on May 22nd, but in SL we celebrate with World Goth Fair, lasting from May 15th-May 31st each year!  This is a fair based around an amazing charity, the Sophie Lancaster Foundation, which sponsors teaching tolerance of alternative subcultures.   For those unaware, Sophie Lancaster is a girl from the United Kingdom who was violently killed in 2007 for merely being dressed differently.  The Sophie Lancaster Foundation was started in her honor by her mother, to fund education of the public about tolerance and acceptance.  If you would like to read more about the charity, and about Sophie Lancaster, please visit http://www.sophielancasterfoundation.com/

ABC’s FM Cares 2013 Horse!

Last year ABC partnered with NfmCPA (National Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain Association) in raising awareness, contributing to research, and to support education. The month of May marks the National Fibromyalgia month and we are releasing the FM Cares 2013 Horse.

As many of you know our partnership with the NfmCPA began when ABC’s very own Darcul recently lost his mother in 2012. She didn’t pass away from having Fibromyalgia, but did suffer with it for well over 30 years. The Single red rose on this horse is our tribute to her and her memory.

Please join us in this partnership and spread the word and donate by purchasing the Fibromyalgia Cares 2013 Horse. The FM Cares 2013 Horse can be purchased for 8000L. All of the profits will be donated to the NfmCPA. The Coat & Eyes can pass through the bloodline, however the breed, Oldenburg, will never be in the gene pool.

Sand & Sea Expo Breedables!

Okay so there were two breedables present at the first ever Sand & Sea Expo, and as it turns out, they seem to get along famously!

But then again maybe the kitty’s trying to eat the fish!  Panda Kitty shoulderpet courtesy of KittyCats (but there’s a real one waiting for you guys at the Sand & Sea Expo!) and the Brah Shark courtesy of ~Oceania Breedables~!   Free as part of the Beachcomber event, just click the purple seashells across the sim and get not only these prizes, but many many more beach, boating, scuba, surfing, and summer themed gifts  from creators of What Next, Lisp, Motor Loon, The Beach Store, Chez Moi, Boom, ANA_mations, Tuff, and SO many others!

There is live entertainment at the expo, and two sims, both with an above ground and below water half to each sim!   Explore the beauty and wonder on the shore and beneath the surface!
